I bought another mouse and yes, it's yet another Logitech. I'm like a beaten wife at this point, sticking with Logitech even though they treat me so badly.
"I-it's only three times in three years, it's not that bad."
"Maybe it's my fault for not treating them well enough."
"W-what if I don't find another mouse? I'll be mouseless forever!"
"I'm only staying till the kids (Umishi & No Side) are grown."
etc, etc.
Let's see how long this mouse lasts before the next round of excuses.
